Eliminate Sugar From Your Diet
Maybe it is sweet, but it isn’t very good for you. An average person takes 22 tablespoons of sugar every day. This is three times more than the American Heart Association recommends. We all know that sugar isn’t good for our health, but recent studies found that it is even more dangerous than we believed. Sugar can be responsible for heart disease, obesity and diabetes. The best preventive is to eliminate it from your diet. It can be hard, because it is a bit addictive, but it is something you should do.
The most dangerous type of sugar is the one we use the most. It is sugar we add in our coffee or to baked goods. It is absorbed very quickly, so it increases the glucose levels in our blood. This increases the insulin levels as well. This type of sugar is also present in many other products. For example, ketchup, beef jerky and etc. Honey, maple syrup and molasses are also sugars. They are not processed in the same way as the ordinary sugar, but they also have a negative effect.
Chemical sweeteners are not the solution. They are also bad for you. They don’t have any calories, so you will eat more, but you will still be hungry. This means that you will eat much more, so eventually you can get weight. Chemical sweeteners increase your hunger, but nobody knows how and why. They are also much sweeter than natural sugar.
The types of sugar you need and you should eat are found in fruits (fructose) and milk products (lactose). They are healthy and they don’t have negative effects on your health.
